Experience

This is my 9th year of teaching in the classroom. I taught sixth grade Language Arts my first year and all subjects of first grade for two years. I then taught Reading and Math Intervention for kindergarten, first, and second grades. After that, I taught Pre-K for four years and this is now my 2nd year of teaching fourth grade Math.

Bio

I grew up in Dadeville and attended Dadeville Schools. After graduating high school in 2000, I attended Southern Union. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, but I began the Nursing Program at SUSCC. I quickly realized I needed to pursue a degree in education because that is where my heart is. I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and later received a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University. I have three children, two boys and a girl, who keep me very busy! I enjoy the outdoors, activities with my church, and spending time with my family!

It is the courage to continue that counts.
